Kim Kephart

I come from a Union background with several of my family members being current or retired union workers.

I started at Corning Inc. in Corning, NY in February of 2006. I have served 2 years as a Shop Steward, 3 years as Guard, 5 years as the Recording Secretary on the local’s eBoard and am currently the Financial Secretary. I have been involved for years with both WOS and Next Generation. 

I am the USW Local 1000 Next Generation Committee Chair and District 4 Next Generation Southern Tier Regional Coordinator. I also represent USW Local 1000 members as an active member of the United Way of the Southern Tier Board of Directors. I feel it is very important to advocate for our members and make sure their voices and concerns are heard. I believe in educating our members and making sure they have the right tools they need to make them and our union will be successful.
