
Jason Osborne
Jason Osborne serves as the Next Generation Co-Chair for United Steelworkers Local 6787, where he focuses on engaging newer members and helping develop the next generation of union leadership. In this role, he works to encourage member involvement, strengthen solidarity, and promote education about workers’ rights and the importance of union participation.
Jason works in the Hot Mill as an electrician, bringing valuable firsthand experience from the shop floor to his union leadership. As a proud member of the United Steelworkers, he is committed to advocating for safe workplaces, fair treatment, and strong representation for all members.
He has completed extensive union education through the United Steelworkers, including the four-year Summer School program, along with courses in grievance handling, civil rights, labor history, advanced arbitration, etc. Jason has also been actively involved in several union committees, including Rapid Response, the Solidarity Committee, and the Communication Action Team, helping mobilize members and support initiatives that strengthen the union’s voice for working families.
Jason believes that education, unity, and active member engagement are essential to maintaining a strong union. He is proud to serve the members of Local 6787 and remains dedicated to protecting workers’ rights while helping prepare the next generation of union leaders.
