Cemline Unit President / Local 9445 Vice President
Jake Neiman has accomplished so much in a small amount of time. Jake has worked as Fitter / Welder at Cemline for 8 years, and for the last 6 years he has served as Cemline Safety Committee Chairperson, Rapid Response Representative, Cemline Unit President, and 9445 Vice President. When I ask Jake about all this he said, "Being raised in a union family it was a natural choice when choosing employment. When I first started getting involved in the union, I was just on the safety committee. Soon after, I was the Grievance officer for Cemline. After that, it was just a short jump to the Unit President. Now I am on the eBoard as the Vice President. Where I hold my position humbly and with the upmost respect."
