Bargaining Readiness Center

BRC

Preparing for negotiations begins long before the bargaining table. The Bargaining Readiness Center is designed to help members stay informed, plan ahead, and be financially prepared throughout the life of our collective bargaining agreement.

Here you’ll find a live countdown to our current contract’s expiration, an estimate of the number of paychecks remaining before negotiations begin, and suggested savings goals to help you build financial security over time. As the contract expiration date approaches, the recommended savings per paycheck automatically adjusts to reflect the time remaining, encouraging members to start preparing early rather than waiting until negotiations are underway.

This page will also continue to grow as we move closer to bargaining. In the future, it may include bargaining updates, frequently asked questions, educational resources, financial planning information, and other tools to help members better understand the bargaining process and what to expect.

This resource is intended for financial preparedness and member education only. It should not be interpreted as an indication that a strike, lockout, or work stoppage is expected. Preparing ahead is simply good financial planning and helps ensure that every member is in the strongest possible position, regardless of how negotiations unfold.
