The company has notified the Union that they will not be extending the EPT Layoff option past 3/31/20. Anyone wishing to apply will have to do so prior to the end of 1st shift on Tuesday 3/31/20 by completing the forms found HERE.
With the company shutting down after the end of 2nd shift tonight and resuming regular operations Sunday night 4/5/20 (3rd shift’s Monday) they are willing to allow any member wanting to return to their Monday shift to do so as long as they notify HR no later than Friday 4/3/20. Members do not have to exercise this option but the company is willing to waive the 1 week notification period for any member wanting to return early from EPT layoff this one time.
Although the EPT Layoff language is not being extended the EPT Attendance Policy for Sickness/Quarantine language is still in effect through 7/1/20. Information on this policy and the form to fill out can be found HERE.

The company and Union were notified today that there has been a 2nd positive test at Strattec. This time it is a Bargaining Unit member in the shipping and receiving department.
The member reached out to the company to notify them of their positive test and to give them a list of those they were in contact with. For those on that list, HR will be reaching out to you to notify you. During the shutdown next week there will be limited members in the building and a full list of volunteers can be found HERE. Chuck Porter (Strattec Trustee) in Stamping Tool Room will be available if there are Union concerns or questions.
