Strattec COVID-19 Update 5/14
The company will be looking for a handful of volunteers (4-8 total as of this morning) for the week of 5/18 but the larger recall for our members was pushed out another week and won't take place until Tuesday 5/26 (Monday 5/25 is Memorial Day). With Mexico operations resuming the week of 5/18, this new date seems to be the final delay before the company starts ramping up production eventually getting back to full force. Please keep an eye on your emails/phones in case Human Resources reaches out to you regarding your return to work status.
I will continue to provide updates with new information, atleast weekly, when I recieve them. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
Additonally, if you speak with other members please encourage them to sign up for our text program, check the Union website weekly, or if they are unable to do either, reach out to me for updates.
