Based on the continued uncertainty with the Mexico lockdown, Strattec is going to push the restarts out a week. Therefore, the people that are working this week should plan to work next week but anyone not working this week will not be working next week. We are hopeful that GM/FCA will reach an agreement with the government over the next week or so but it could potentially be a couple of weeks. The current work schedule is as follows:4/27 - No production (work crews same as week of 4/20) - 1-2 materials associates will be added to organize material around the building.5/4 - Limited production - (stamping, milling, plating and support departments - same as previous plan of 4/27)5/11 - Full to Medium production levels - (will allow voluntary layoffs to continue but plan to accommodate all those that want to work)Anyone wishing to be considered for work on 4/27 or 5/4 should notify Savanna Sessler or Dian Fellows. Members will report to work as normal on 5/11 for regularly scheduled production.Members wishing to stay out longer than 5/11 should reach out to Savanna Sessler or Dian Fellows to get approved for a later return to work date.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A reminder for all Union members that your insurance payments are due to the company by the end of the month. Strattec did not take insurance payments out for ANY member regardless if you worked in April or not so all members must send in insurance payments to keep active or COBRA insurance.
