2020 Hunger Task Force Drive

In January of 2020 the Strattec Unit held a food drive for the Milwaukee Hunger Task Force. Our goal was to donate 500 lbs. of food and then spend the following Saturday donating our time with a food sort.

With some donations coming in right at the end of our drive, we were able to just pass our goal reaching 503 lbs on January 31. 

The following day, February 1 we donated our labor at the Hunger Task Force sorting food to be distributed in the community.  After a little bit of training and help from another volunteer group we got to work and by the end of the day we sorted over 18,000 lbs of food.
