Chequamegon Clinic Negotiations Update #1

Chequamegon Clinic Update: Contract negotiations began this past week between United Steelworkers Local 9460 and Aspirus.  The Union Negotiating Committee is made up of four people, Steelworkers’ Staff Rep Michele Fredrickson, Local Union President Sue Wagner-Thomas, and two workers from the Clinic, Lettie Polkowski and Henna Ruberg.

So far all that has been discussed is some non-economic things related to contract language.  The next day of negotiations is going to be July 30, at which point the two sides will be making their economic proposals, including about wages.  So stay tuned for further updates!
