Negotiations are not going well. Essentia Health is refusing to discuss any across the board wage increase until we accept new language that would turn us all into universal workers. Basically, what they are proposing is to turn everyone into a giant float pool that could be sent to any facility to do any job. The stakes are high and we want everyone to be fully informed.

You can also attend meeting in person if you prefer. We’ll be in Room 202 of the Duluth Labor Temple. Tell all your co-workers about this meeting. If we’re going to turn this around we are all going to need to pull together!
