Health & Safety Training Conference

United Steelworkers District 11 will be hosting a Health & Safety training conference on October 21-22.  The goal of the conference is to strengthen the capacity of local unions to proactively address workplace hazards, engage members and build union power through safety.

Day one will feature the Union Approach to Health & Safety class.  Day two will consist of a Resiliency Training specifically designed for health care workers.  The conference will be held at the Delta Hotel in Minneapolis.

Our local union has voted to send up to 10 members to this conference.  If you’re interested in attending, email the office at usw9460@gmail.com.  Let us know before September 16.
