Interested in Becoming a Union Steward

Interested in becoming a union steward? Our union is going to be holding two steward trainings in the month of October. They are one day long, from 9am to 5pm. The two days we'll be holding them are Oct. 15 and 16, and they'll be at the Duluth Labor Temple. If you're interested, let us know and we'll put in a time off request with your employer, and then we'll cover your lost wages. Stewards are volunteers who sit in on discipline meetings, serve as a liaison between their co-workers and the rest of the union, and are just overall are the eyes and ears of the union.
