Local 9460 College Scholarships for 2026!

It's that time of year again!  The application period for the 2026 United Steelworkers Local 9460 college scholarships is now open.  Children and legal wards of our members are eligible to apply.  All you have to do is fill out the application linked below, write a brief letter explaining what your planned program of study will be and why you are entering that field, and then mail it to us before April 3, 2026.

This year we are awarding five scholarship worth $500 each to part time university students, eight scholarships worth $1000 each to full time university students, and four scholarships worth $500 each to tech school or community college students.  If you have won a scholarship from us before, you can still apply again this year.

The children of our members are also welcome to apply for the A.F. Kojetinsky scholarship, which is put out by District 11 of the United Steelworkers.  The directions and application for that scholarship can be found here.
