Pine Medica Center Negotiations Update

We are trying to get changes in the vacation policy for the CNAs and RNs so that they don’t have to get their own coverage.  The team is working to get stronger language that would require the company to notify the union whenever they try to bring on travelers/contingency workers.  We’re trying to get higher call pay for Maintenance workers, higher team lead pay and to make shift differentials more fair.  And we are still going back and forth on wages. Next meeting is on Tuesday.
