Steward Training Has Been Rescheduled

Our local had planned on holding a steward training on April 2.  Mother Nature, however, had other ideas, and sent a snow storm.  That training has been rescheduled for May 5.  It will run from 9am to 5pm at the Duluth Labor Temple.  We've updated our time off requests to all of our employers so that most folks who were approved to attend the April 2 training will be able to attend the May 5 one.  However, there were a few workers whose departments were too short staffed for the May 5 date.  So, we will be holding another steward training later this year.  If you're curious about becoming a steward, reach out to our office, and we'll put you on the list to keep in the loop about this yet to be scheduled additional training.  You can reach the office by emailing us at usw9460@gmail.com.
