Tentative Agreement Passed at Pine Medical Center

Our members at the Pine Medical Center in Sandstone voted on October 19 on whether or not to accept the Tentative Agreement that had been reached between the union and Essentia Health.  The TA passed overwhelmingly.  Thank you to everyone who turned out to vote.  

The highlights of the new contract are wage increases of 2.5% for year 1, 2.5% for year 2 and 3% for year 3 (and this will be on top of your annual step increase), a minimum of 12 hours off in between shifts, a bump in pay for weekend work, part time workers will now get holiday pay and there will be a $1 increase on call pay.
