Tentative Agreement Reached or Pine Medical Center

Our union and Essentia Health have reached a tentative agreement for the Pine Medical Center contract.  A ratification vote has been scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026.  You can come by to ask questions and to vote any time between 6:30am and 5pm at the Pine Medical Center EMS Building in the Admin Conference Room.

The union negotiating committee is recommending a yes vote.  Among the highlights of the three year agreement are wage increases of 2.5% for year 1, 2.5% for year 2 and 3% for year 3.  Other contract improvements include language guaranteeing at least 12 hours off in between shifts, holiday pay for part time workers and all call pay will now be going up to $6.50/hour.

We will be posting the Tentative Agreement in its entirety as soon we get the final edited version from the employer.  We want you to be able to read it over before the ratification vote. Physical copies of the TA will also be available at the ratification vote itself.
