Union Car Sign Action on May 18!

Contract negotiations are underway between United Steelworkers Local 9460 and Essentia Health. At issue is the contract covering the 800 tech workers at Essentia's facilities in the Twin Ports.

The union is calling on all workers covered by the Red Book contract to display union signs in their parked cars on May 18. You can get a car sign from either your union steward, a member of the CAT (Communication & Action Team) or at the Local 9460 office in the Labor Temple.

Negotiations are set to start up again on May 19. These car signs are part of an escalating series of actions the union is organizing. Be sure to get your co-workers involved! We're all in this together ~ solidarity gets results!
