The Union is important to me because I know they have the best interest at heart and I know they will fight for all members!
Bio:
Amanda is originally from Alliance, Oh but now currently resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Oh. She has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education Intervention Specialist from Stark State College and graduated with honors. Amanda previously worked as a Radiology Transcriptionist and an Emergency Room Registrar before beginning her employment as a Case Manager at Stark County Job and Family Services Child Support Division in December 2014. Currently, she is a New Directions Case Manager under the PJAC Grant. Amanda volunteered to be the head teller for the 2021 Local Election and from there she decided she wanted to be more active in our Union. In addition to serving as our Local Union Recording Secretary, Amanda is also part of CAT and WOS.
Amanda has been married to her husband, Joe, since 2018. She loves spending time with her loud Italian family, friends, and her two cats, Mabel and Scrubby. Amanda also enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling, cooking/baking, and Broadway musicals.
