On Thursday, January 26th, USW Local 6500 presented a cheque to the Sudbury Food Bank on behalf of the Steelworkers Humanity Fund. 

The Sudbury Food Bank is so important to our community, and with the difficult economic times, not only is the need increasing, but many Sudburians are finding it harder to dig deep into their pockets to help the charitable organizations they are normally committed to. 

Local 6500 is proud of its collaboration with the Edgar Burton Food Drive and the Sudbury Food Bank and we are very happy to present this cheque to help our friends and neighbours in Sudbury.
