Congratulations! I would like to personally welcome you to the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Healthcare System in Somerset. My name is Shelby, and I am your Union president. We are USW local 9620 and were unionized on December 18, 2014. Later, we ratified our contract in December of 2016. After 420 hours of working, you will automatically be made a member of the Union. All members contribute to union dues of 1.45 percent plus 2 cents of your gross income per paycheck.  There will also be an initiation fee.  As a member, you are entitled to have nurse stewards and nurse union committee members represent you.
