Local 6500 presents cheque to striking members of USW 5114

On October 24th, USW Local 6500 presented a cheque to striking members of USW Local 5114, who are in town to bring awareness to their cause while the company Vice-President attended a Ground Support Symposium.  On March 13, 2017, after negotiating for nearly a year, members of USW Local 5114 voted to go on an Unfair Labour Practice Strike against Helca Mining in Northern Idaho.  For more information, please visit the Local’s Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/USW-Local-5114-694692010581206/photos
