The Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers wants to make you aware of two free public information webinars that are being offered this week and next that are relevant to our members and their families.
Both webinars feature Dr. Paul Demers from the Occupational Cancer Research Centre, presenting his reports on (1) using science for WSIB claim adjudication for occupational cancers; (2) McIntyre Powder and neurological disorders. [NOTE: The OCRC study also found higher rates of Alzheimer’s and motor neuron disease in mining in general, so non-McIntyre Powder exposed miners may be interested.
