On January 4th, USW Local 6500, Local 2020, and the Sudbury Wolves held a special Sudbury Saturday Night to pay tribute to Steelworkers International President and hometown boy, Leo Gerard, who retired after more than 50 years with the Steelworkers.

Hundreds of Steelworkers and friends turned out to see Leo drop the puck and to honour the meaningful work he has done, and continues to do, on behalf of working people in Sudbury and all over the World.

For every ticket sold, $5.00 went to the Sudbury Action Centre for Youth.
