Minister of Labour to Lower Diesel Emissions in Mines

At a press conference in Sudbury today, USW Local 6500 President Nick Larochelle, along with Minister of Labour Monte McNaughton, announced the first step towards ending occupational illnesses caused by diesel emissions.

"We are committed to continuing to advocate for scientifically safe levels of diesel emissions for our underground workers."
