If your Local Union participates in the District 11 Welfare and Education Fund, you and your members are eligible to attend at no cost for the tuition, room and board. To find out how many members are covered at no cost by the fund please call Terri at (816) 836-1400 at the Sub- District 2 office.

In 2022, 8 members of Local 348 were covered by the fund, and 14 members attended.

In February 2023, Eboard approved reimbursement for lost time and expenses for up to 22 attendees (2 from each unit, with returning students getting first preference, and unclaimed slots from some units potentially offered to additional Year 1 students from other units).
