Good day Brothers, Sisters and Union Family,
Thanks to all who filled out the surveys and have been here so far to discuss your concerns with the committee as we have taken this information and made it our mandate.
Just a friendly reminder that a departmental meeting is still scheduled for tonight. If you have not been able to attend, we invite you to come down to the Union Hall anytime today or for this evenings meeting. We are having pizza at the 8:00pm meeting tonight. We look forward to your continued input during discussion.
Open Session for All – July 5th – 8:00AM and 8:00PM
Many of you have been through contracts in the past, and for some of you it will be your time going through the processes of negotiating. For some this can be a stressful time as you naturally wondering what is going on and will I be working when September 15th rolls around? We want you to remember the Steel workers bargain contracts not strikes and we are working to secure a tentative offer you can accept!
We ask you to keep your minds on your tasks at work and at home as the most important thing is your safety.
Please contact the Union or a CAT representative with any questions you may have about the bargaining process, and thanks for your ongoing support.
