Good day Brothers and Sisters and Union family,
We are very close to concluding the non-monetary portion of the bargaining process with Vale. You the membership gave us a strong mandate Pension, Wages, Benefits, but also our post retirement benefits. With your solidarity we intend on getting a fair deal that that is good for you, your family and our community.
Come out and meet your bargaining committee on Wednesday August 7, 2024, from 4PM to 8PM. This will be an open house, come and go as you please. We will be there to answer questions that you have about the bargaining.
We will be asking you for a strike mandate vote near the end of August to let the company know the membership stands behind their Bargaining committee.
