In 1991, I hired on with INCO in the Refinery as a Plating Tankman and became a member of the Refinery Rescue Team. In 1995, I went underground at T-3 Mine until 2000. I was temporarily force transferred back to the Refinery, where I returned to the rescue team and the Tanks. I also worked and trained in all areas and became a member of the C.I.S.M. Team.

In 2007, I joined the Safety and Health Committee and became a Steward, which eventually led me to become the “Lead” Steward for the Refinery.

In 2011, I joined the USW National Emergency Response team. I have since transferred back to T-3 Mine and work as a Development Miner. In addition, I am the Alternate Worker Safety Representative and Lead Steward for T-3 Mine.
