I am the President for the USW 6166 Executive Committee.
I began working with Inco/Vale in 1995 as a refractory Mason. I started out, as an activist, with the joint Health & Safety and Contracting Out committees. I have been involved in several sets of contract negotiations with Vale, as well as with the Thompson Airport Screeners.
For the last 15 years, I have been an active member of the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team with Vale and since its inception 3 years ago, a member of the Vale Pension Fund Committee. Additionally, I am an Instructor and political lobbyist with USW District 3.
