The Sudbury & District Labour Council and the Labour Community celebrated a successful Labour Day despite the restrictions of COVID-19.  A parade of vehicles adorned with flags made its way through town to the Steelworkers Hall parking lot where attendees remained in their vehicles

August 29 Day of Action: Prescription for a Safe September: Paid Sick Days

Sudbury Workers Education & Advocacy Centre is inviting you to join them for a rally to support paid sick days for workers across Ontario! The rally will take place on August 29th at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Park beginning with speeches. At 2:45 there will be a march to Tom Davies Square where we will draw the connection between paid sick days and a Safe September.
