Women of Steel Leadership Development Course

We will be holding a Women of Steel Leadership Development Course in Altoona, Iowa on November 5-8, 2024.  This is a comprehensive course aimed at helping union sisters develop communication skills, build self-confidence, understand the way the union works, and learn leadership skills and strategies.

We are inviting all interested union sisters, currently active members, and members who are not currently active, but exhibit the potential and/or desire to become active to participate in a WOS Course.  To ensure maximum participation we ask that you publicize this course among all the sisters in your respective local [units] and encourage their participation.  Our facilitators for the course are women who have participated in the Women of Steel Facilitator Training Course mandated by the International Union.

Course: Tuesday, November 5 through Thursday, November 7 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (one hour for lunch – lunch will be provided each day)

Friday, November 8 – 9:00 a.m. to noon (box lunch to go will be provided)
