American Synthetic Rubber Company in Louisville, Kentucky, produces various grades of synthetic rubber for the Michelin Group. Using synthetic rubber for a wide variety of vehicles and aircraft, including automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, farm equipment, construction equipment, domestic and military aircraft and personal mobility equipment, and is shipped to Michelin tire manufacturing facilities throughout the world. American Synthetic Rubber Company also manufactures a unique form of liquid polymer, which serves as a binding agent for the compounds used in rocket propellants.
